In agriculture, crop farming are all subjects that are not animals and cultivated in a room or media that is appropriate for the business. This notion is distinguished from the ordinary use of that plant with plants. In fact, almost all of the plant is a plant, but the definition of covered crops are also some fungi (yeast food, such as mushroom and button mushrooms) and algae (agar-producing and nori) which deliberately cultivated for the benefit of its economic value. Plant "deliberately" planted, while the plant is something that emerges or grows from the earth's surface.
According to product groups, ordinary plant can be divided into:
- Cereals, plant "seeds"
- Nuts
- Fruit trees, producing fruit
- Plant vegetables, horseradish
- Industrial plants, producing industrial raw materials (dyes, rubber, and so on)
- Spices, spice
- Root crops, producing edible tubers
- Fiber plant
- Medicinal plants
- Oil crops
